About
The Maritime Museum of San Diego enjoys a worldwide reputation for excellence in restoring, maintaining and operating historic vessels. The museum has one of the world's finest collections of historic ships, including the world's oldest active ship Star of India.

Getting there
Maritime Museum of San Diego
1492 North Harbor Drive
San Diego, CA 92101

The Maritime Museum of San Diego is located on Harbor Drive
near the corner of Ash Street just a few blocks West of
interstate 5. From interstate 5 North or South take the
"Airport" exit. Look for signs on the freeway and after
exiting on to surface streets that read "Embarcadero
Maritime Museum." They will direct you to the museum.

Tips & Suggestions
Parking
There is metered parking in front of the museum limited to 2 hours.
coins can be added for additional time. Meters are not enforced after
6:00 p.m. on weekdays or on Sundays and holidays.

There are also several day lots (pay to park) within a few blocks of the museum including: Broadway and Harbor Drive, Kettner and Cedar, Kettner and Beech and a large parking structure at Columbia and "C". Also parking is available at the County Administration Center (pay to park, enter off Ash Street between Harbor Drive and Pacific Coast Highway) on weekends and holidays only.

Public Transportation
The County Center/Little Italy trolley station on the blue line is only 2 blocks from the museum. For schedules and more information including bus service

9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
(open until 9:00 p.m. Memorial Day - Labor Day)

General Admission*
Adults $12
Seniors (62 and over) $9
Active Military (with valid military ID) $9
Children (6-17) $8
Children 5 and under are free

Museum members are always free

*General admission includes entrance to all of the museum's historic ships and the exhibits on board.
