Time: 8:00 AM (Will start the walk by 8:15 AM
Meeting place: 650 Foxhall Dr., San Marcos, CA
We will meet on the side of the parking lot where the trail to Discovery Lake starts.
Hike from Discovery Lake to Double Peak. 5-5.5 miles round trip with 1000 feet elevation gain. Not for absolute beginners but we'll go at a moderate pace. Restrooms and parking available in a small lot and parking also on the local streets. Mostly paved road and hardpacked dirt.

I have only done this hike once about 2 and a half year ago. So this may be a little rediscovery and adventure.
